This digital photograph shows a white heron walking through the wetlands during a misty winter afternoon. The wetlands of the Santa Lucía River are home to several species of birds that I am grateful to be able to contemplate when I visit on a lucky day. The incredible serene winter atmosphere that afternoon was the perfect complement to show this delicate, fragile and perfect nature scene.
